Color On The Creek is an all volunteer inspired and managed water garden located in the Carroll Creek Linear Park which runs through the heart of downtown Frederick Maryland. Created in 2012, the garden transformed an algae plagued creek into a place of real beauty. The water garden blooms from April through October and is open and free to the public. Stop by; you won’t be disappointed!
We started with 100 colunteers in 2013 and have grown to over 400 participating volunteers and donors.
Thank you to all the amazing volunteers who helped the 2022-23 STTWS! We are so fortunate and thankful for the hearty group of individuals who build, design, and support the fleet. This crew literally help keep the boats afioat through rain, sleet, ice and snow. Plans are already underway for the 2023-24 STTWS fleet.
If you’d like to volunteer to help us out on the creek, we’d sure appreciate your time and effort. We need your help!
